After 36 years of successful leadership at Opening Roof Specialists, our founder and Managing Director, Alex Pataky has made the difficult decision to retire.
Opening Roof Specialists will be acquired by DECO Australia on 1st February 2024, with Scott Reed appointed as the General Manager.
DECO Australia offers a wide range of aluminium products like DecoDeck, DecoBatten and DecoClad that perfectly complement our high quality Opening Roofs. We are so thrilled that our customers will have access to an extensive product range to transform their outdoor space and lifestyle.
Opening Roof Specialists will continue operating with the same dedicated and professional team who are committed to providing our customers with a high quality product and service.

I truly believe in our product and the positive impact that we make in the lives of our customers. I’m very grateful to our customers over the past 36 years for trusting us to transform their homes into spaces that bring them so much joy.
Whilst I am looking forward to my retirement, I will miss the challenges and opportunities that the workplace brings. I take with me many fond memories and enduring friendships that I so deeply value.
I am very excited about the future for Opening Roof Specialists under the direction and leadership of the wonderful team at DECO Australia.
