The waterfront awning appears right on the waterfront of Sydney Harbour. The owners wanted to extend their entertaining area with a quality waterfront awning that wouldn’t rust. They also stipulated the structure had to blend with the existing architecture. The owners had purchased a large home which had a large outdoor entertaining area. The original build had provided for an opening roof to be fitted to previously constructed concrete openings but it had not been done. The proposed structure had to fit into these openings and drain discretely.
This client had limited space and wished to design a Mosman pergola that was subtle and harmonius with its surroundings. The classic combination of glossy white against the green backdrop of the gardens achieved just that. An instant feeling of relaxation is experienced when entering this outdoor space.
Before building this charming Riverview pergola, the area had been covered with twin wall polycarbonate and the owners could not use this area during the heat of the day. The Eclipse Opening Roof solved this problem with its aluminium construction and opening louvre design.
Previously this Willoughby pergola was an uncovered timber structure. Although it was maintained and painted regularly, it had deteriorated to the extent that the original Willoughby pergola was in danger of collapsing! The client’s brief was to retain the same architectural style but also to provide an all-weather outdoor area for use in summer or winter whilst giving protection to the extensive timber work on the rear of the home. The addition of modern motorised roof louvres achieved exactly what the client was after.
The owners had a large area they wished to use as a break out area when relaxing or entertaining, so we created this West Pennant Hills pergola that sits proudly looking over the property. The simple addition of flush-mounted LED down lights gave a special finishing touch to this practical space.
